Job Description – Branch Manager
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch, including parts, service, and sales departments. This role ensures smooth, profitable business operations by managing staff, maintaining accurate inventory and sales records, and delivering excellent customer service. A strong understanding of Kubota equipment, including mowers, tractors, construction equipment, and rental processes, is essential.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the parts, service, and sales teams to achieve departmental and branch-wide goals.
• Supervise and support office staff, technicians, ensuring efficient administrative and service operations and customer communication.
• Oversee inventory control to ensure accuracy, availability, and proper stocking levels.
• Maintain and analyze sales records, preparing reports to track performance and support strategic planning.
• Develop and implement branch strategies to increase sales, enhance customer satisfaction5, and improve workflow.
• Ensure operational compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff across departments to build a high-performing, customer-focused team.
• Resolve customer issues and support escalated service needs with professionalism and urgency.
• Monitor and manage budgets, profitability, and key performance indicators.
• Coordinate with internal departments to streamline rental processes and equipment availability.
• Represent the company and brand with in-depth product knowledge of Kubota equipment and rental offerings.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Proven experience in branch or department management, particularly in parts, service, or equipment sales.
• Strong background in mowers, tractors, construction equipment, and rental operations.
• Working knowledge of Kubota equipment, fleet management, and related processes.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with inventory systems, sales tracking tools, and CRM software.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record preferred.
Physical Demands:
The role may require walking through warehouse, yard, or service areas, and occasional lifting of equipment or parts. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment:
Work is primarily indoors in office and service areas, with occasional outdoor exposure when inspecting equipment, visiting job sites, or supporting rental operations.
